Procedure text adalah text yang berisikan perintah atau suatu langkah-langkah dalam mengerjakan sesuatu, procedure text ini dibuat untuk memberi gambaran bagaimana sesuatu dilakukan melalui langkah yang berurut.

Terdapat tiga bagian yang ada pada procedure text, yaitu :
