It was takbiran night. It was also my birthday, and nothing happened. Or I had thought nothing would happen, but I was wrong.
That night, I was watching television with my family when I heard someone lit fireworks in my front yard. I peeped through my window glass but could see nothing. It was very dark outside. Then I thought it had to be my cousins who lit the fireworks. Then I plopped down on my sofa again and tried to concentrate on the television since my mind raced with disappointment that no one gave something special on my birthday.
I shrugged, it was almost the end of the day and I became pessimist. Five minutes later my mobile beeped. It was a text from my friend asking me to come out. Wondering what was going on, I grabbed my jacket and hurried to the front door. I was surprised to see her bring a bag full of firework and fire drills. Next I was surprised to see my other friend come out from the darkness. She brought a beautiful birthday cake on her hands. Oh my God! I shrieked. Then they gave the cake to me who was too stunned to say anything. I realized I was blushing furiously because my whole family was watching. Not to mention my neighbors too!
A plain day, or I thought it was before, turned out to be one of the greatest moment in my life. I didn’t even know how to describe what I felt. Happy was the simplest word.

After we spent long enough time to watch the sunrise, we decided to get breakfast. There was a festival at that time. We went to the festival and had breakfast there. We ate some delicious sea foods. We felt time went so fast that day. We needed to return to our guest house because our boat that would bring us home would depart at 10.00 AM.
In summary, my first trip to Pari Island was so enjoyable. I would like to visit this place again together with my family in another chance.

Bandung Trip
Last holiday, exactly two months ago, I went to Bandung with my best friend, Anna. We decided to have a trip there for three days long. Luckily, I and Anna had the same interest in places that we would like to visit. That made the trip easier and more fun!
We didn’t have any plans on the first day because we arrived at 5 p.m. by bus. That moment, we were tired and decided to have some rest in our hotel. The next day, we rented a motorbike. After that, we visited a beautiful place named Punclut. It was a little far from our hotel. But trust me, we were astonished the first second we got there! We had dinner at a seafood restaurant. Anna ate a bowl of fish soup while I enjoyed my grilled salmon and green mussels. The taste was fantastic yet we knew that we were satisfyingly full. On our way back to the hotel, we bought some traditional snacks from Bandung to accompany us while binge-watching good movies.
Our last day came that fast. We packed our things in the very morning and took the last trip to Farm House. After taking pictures, we moved to another place where we bought more traditional snacks and souvenirs for our family members back home. At approximately 5 p.m., we returned the motorbike and went home by bus.
Since we arrived at 12 p.m., Anna decided to sleepover at my house. We still talked about our fun times in Bandung and shared pictures. We really wanted to go there next time. Bandung was amazing after all!
